An 18’x24’ canvas print of an oil painting of the Frio River at Laity Lodge. Laity Lodge is a special place for many people. There's a magic when you're driving in to camp and you descend into the waters of the Frio. I think God uses this sacred space as a place of healing and encouragement for so many people. It's a bit like the Holy Spirit to me, bringing the gospel message for all to rest in and yet brought in an extremely unique way for each person. I painted this after a long weekend at the Lodge spent with other moms who were seeking balance in art making and motherhood. I hope this piece speaks to you like it does to my soul.
